Ossa IT Pty Ltd was established in 2017 via a management buy-out of the Tasmanian office of Dialog Pty Ltd (now NCS Australia).

In 2010, Dialog acquired the ICT services of a Tasmanian company, Prologic, a business that had successfully operated in the Tasmanian software development and support marketplace for over 25 years. With the acquisition of Dialog in Tasmania by Ossa IT, the ownership is back in Tasmanian hands. Ossa IT has an operates, mainly in Hobart and Launceston and currently employs twelve local employees as well as additional contractors who provide skilled IT resources to Government and non-Government organisations.

Ossa IT provides valuable IT services to government organisations and commercial businesses in a wide variety of industries using numerous technologies. These services include programming and systems development, business analysis, program and project management, systems integration, business and artificial intelligence (AI). Services are provided as either Fixed Price or as "time and materials" — whatever model best suits the client.

The management of Ossa IT sees great potential for growth in the market and is setting itself ambitious targets for increased local employment as well as new service offerings for public and private sector clients.

Ossa IT invests in its people, developing their experience and skills, often through external training and certification so they stay abreast of the latest advances in technology. This enables Ossa IT to provide a reliable and consistent service, with the ability to support customers well beyond the completion of a project or assignment.

The owners and Directors of Ossa IT Pty Ltd are Iain Kelly, Managing Director, and Graeme Kelly, Director of Development Operations. Both Iain and Graeme (brothers) are long-time IT professionals with over 50 years' experience in the IT industry between them. Prior to the acquisition of Ossa IT, Iain was Director of a successful Program Management consultancy and Graeme was Director of a similarly successful consultancy specialising in .Net development and business intelligence.
